I am an American who loves Vegemite. As an explorer of new tastes I first bought a jar while living in Alaska. For the following three years Vegemite was a staple in my cupboard. After I moved back to Atlanta finding a steady supply of Vegemite became a challenge. During times when I could not obtain Vegemite I would use Marmite with reluctant enthusiasm. The refreshing taste of Vegemite on top of toast with butter or a creamy type of cheese really elevates my mood. Vegemite is my favorite comfort food.
